Product Manager Engineer, Maintenance and Support Equipment

The Product Manager Engineer, Maintenance, and Support Equipment (PdM EMSE) leads the acquisition, engineering, production, fielding, logistical support and modernization of combat engineer systems, material handling systems, various sets, kits, outfits, and tools worldwide. PdM EMSE provides Soldiers with equipment that fulfills their wartime and peacetime operational requirements while leveraging commercial technology. PdM EMSE has over 100 programs in various stages of the life cycle. The various programs align with the Ordinance School, the Quartermaster School, and the Engineer School. PdM EMSE leads in execution of Sales & Exchange and Service Life Extension Programs and facilitates an active working group with the other Services to build alliances.
PdM EMSE broad portfolio includes various sets, kits and tools for tracked and wheeled vehicle repair and maintenance, armament and hydraulic systems repair, metal working and machining, cutting and welding, combat engineer and construction, urban operations, Army dive missions, inflatable boats and motors, fire suppression, and fire protection equipment. PdM EMSE provides state of the art, deployable, vehicle-mounted, containerized shelter, and Soldier portable tool systems. Engineering Systems include equipment to support missions for construction clearing and operations, to restrain detainees, document and collect evidence at a crime scene, tactical and strategic missions providing means for security, stability, transition and reconstruction. PdM EMSE provides equipment to perform a variety of maritime operations such as airborne and air mobile infiltration, over-the-horizon insertion, surface swimming operations, hydrographic survey, river reconnaissance, water-gap crossing, and bridging operations. Diving equipment provides the tools and equipment required to support all Engineer Dive operations, Support SCUBA Teams conducting underwater reconnaissance, demolition, repair, light salvage and recovery missions to a maximum depth of 130 feet, as well as provide pure breathing air support.
PdM EMSE provides products supporting the current engineer forces within Stryker, Armored and Infantry Brigade Combat Teams, Engineer Support Companies, Vertical and Horizontal Companies, Asphalt and Concrete Teams, and Multi-Role Bridge Companies include; Type II Heavy Crane, Self-Propelled Concrete Saw, Light Capability Rough Terrain Forklift, High-Mobility Engineer Excavator, Engineer Mission Module-Water Distributor, Paving Machine, Backhoe Loaders, Hydraulic Excavators, Light and Medium Dozers, Light and Heavy Loaders, Grader, Portable Concrete Mixer, Engineer Rapid Airfield and Construction Capability, Water Well Drilling System, Rough Terrain Container Handler, and Skid Steer Loaders. PdM EMSE also supports the Transportation, Quartermaster, Medical, Aviation, and Military Police Corps.
